Five star (Deluxe or Grand Deluxe*)

Five-star hotels offer the highest level of accommodation and service. They will be located in the best locations, which in Eilat would usually mean the beachfront. You can expect furnishings to be stylish and good quality with luxury touches throughout the hotel. Suites as well as rooms will be offered and there may be a floor dedicated to business travellers. Hotels at this level compete to offer the best luxury touches which may include such treats as in-room CD and DVD players and spa baths. Mini-bars are usually standard.

Five-star hotels offer a good choice of formal and informal dining, with some in Eilat having as many as five restaurants offering diverse cuisines including Japanese, Thai, Mediterranean and Lebanese.

You'll enjoy food of a high international standard which also attracts diners from outside of the hotel.

There is often a choice of pools in larger five star hotels and in addition to a fitness centre you can usually expect a spa. In recent years spas have become key features of upmarket hotels and can be somewhere you can linger for a full day. Some in Eilat feature Hammam steam rooms, waterfalls and other exotic touches. Family-centred hotels, (which covers most in Eilat), will have a kids' club and some a separate children's pool.

Business facilities are likely to include meeting rooms, and there would usually be function facilities for conferences, weddings etc.
